Its strange how a trip such as this has caused me to become so involved in modern technology. I have a phone telling me where I am, and letting me communicate with the world and I have become a member of the "web 2.0". All of this gives my so much respect for the early explorers like Lewis and Clark, and Frank Lenz (who attempted to bike accross the world in the 1890s). The types of adventures they had were so different from anything feasible today.
